Lila was born October 29, 1932 to George Primm and Bessie Clyde (Melson) Ragsdale in Weatherford, Texas. She was united in marriage November 21, 1952 to Jerry D. Mayhue in Ft.Worth, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Bessie Ragsdale; her husband of 67 years, Jerry Mayhue; her daughter, Zoe Mayhue; a sister and several brothers.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are, her daughter, Linda Mayhue of Boyd; her sons, Jeffrey Scott Mayhue and wife Sheila of Boyd and Michael Shawn Mayhue of Boyd; her grandchildren, Derek Mayhue and wife Summer, Dustin Mayhue and wife Brittany; Austin Bissonnette, and Ana Mayhue; 6 great-grandchildren, Kaidyn, Kaylyn, Sarah, Dusti Lynn, Noah, and Chloe; numerous family and a host of friends.
