Lillian Ruth (Kalenda) Musgrove

Paradise ~ Lillian Ruth Kalenda Musgrove, 93, a homemaker, went to be with our Lord Wednesday, December 27, 2017 in Paradise.

Funeral is 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 30, 2017 at First Baptist Church of Paradise. With burial in DFW National Cemetery in Dallas at a later date. Family will receive friends 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. prior to the service at the church.

Bro. David Kelly will officiate. Honorary pallbearers include David McDougald, Cody Armstrong, Jody Bruce and Alvis (Bubba) Pryor.

Lillian was born on January 7, 1924 to Charles and Veronica (Ondrusek) Kalenda in Temple, Texas. She was united in marriage to Gerald Richard Musgrove on December 20, 1945 in Kansas City, Kansas. Lillian was baptisted March 4, 1951 at First Baptist Church of Crowley, Texas. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Paradise.

Lillian taught Sunday school, was a church secretary, a prayer warrior. She was also a strong christian and spread her christianity throughout her children, grandchildren and her entire family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Gerald Musgrove; her son, Gerald E Musgrove; her granddaughter, Tiffany; 4 sisters and 3 brothers.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her daughters, Barbara and husband Wayne McDougald of Burleson, Florence Armstrong of Arlington; daughter in love, Connie Musgrove of Cleburne; son, Ralph and wife Sharita of Buffalo Springs; brother Joe Kalenda of Hallsville and Johnny Kalenda of Newburg, Oregon; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Missions Program at the First Baptist Church of Paradise.
