Fort Worth ~ Lillie Cleo Adams, 100, a receiving clerk, went to be with our Lord Saturday, June 25, 2016 in Azle.
Graveside service is 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 29, at Boyd Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Christian–Hawkins Funeral Home.
Pastor George Westby will officiate.
Lillie was born on January 22, 1916 to Thomas and Susie (McCaleb) Dean in Boyd. She was united in marriage to James Adams on February 14, 1959 in Weatherford.
Lillie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James Adams; and her son, Johnny Mercer.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her daughters, LaVenia Collier and husband Steven of Fort Worth and Jo Ann Russell of Fort Worth; her son, Tommy Mercer and wife Kelly of Fort Worth; 8 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; other relatives and a host of friends.
