Lillie Dean (Beard) Lefler

Decatur ~ Lillie Dean Lefler, 87, of Decatur went to be with her Lord Sunday, May 31, 2020 in Decatur, Texas.

Graveside service is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 3, 2020 at Oaklawn Cemetery in Decatur. Family will receive friends 6 - 8 p.m. Tuesday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur.

Lillie was born September 29, 1932 to Looney and Thelma (Perser) Beard in Linden, Texas. She married J.W. Lefler on August 19, 1950 in Clarendon Texas. They were married 63 years till his passing in 2014.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, J.W. Lefler.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her son, Randy Lefler and wife Leslie of Houston; her daughter, Deana Bookout Maldonado and husband Jimmy of Azle; her grandchildren, Justin Cash, Lacey Cash, Shawn Lefler and wife Elizabeth, and Brandi Brackeen; numerous great-grandchildren; her brothers, C.L. and Gerald Beard; numerous extended family and a host of friends.
