Fort Worth: Lillie Maye Lefler, 86, formerly of Decatur, went to be with our Lord on Tuesday, July 7, 2009 in Fort Worth.
Funeral service is 2 p.m. Friday, July 10th at the Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Gerre Joiner officiating. Interment will follow the service at Bethel Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers are Brad Swiger, Brian Ford, Wayne Woolaver, Billy Swiger, Roger Johnson and Wayne East.
Lillie was born on March 23, 1923 in Decatur, Texas to Charles L. and Nonnie Pauline (Gill) Woolaver. She married James Bradley Lefler on February 6, 1965, in Decatur, Texas. Lillie worked as a grocery cashier at Safeway Grocery for 18 years and a member of the Methodist Church.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her daughter, Shirley Swiger of Arlington, Joy Hoyos of Houston; grandchildren, Debbie Ford, Brad Swiger of Arlington and Christina Ebrahim of Houston; great grandson, Justin and Daniel of Arlington; brothers Calvin, Ray and Bill Woolaver all of Decatur.
Lillie is preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, James Bradley Lefler and brother, J. V. Woolaver.
