Decatur: Linda Kaye Burroughs, 61, of Decatur, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 30, 2008.
Memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Lifeway Baptist Church in Decatur.
Linda was born December 9, 1946 in Dallas, Texas to William Jack and Melba Joy (McGrew) Sanderfer. She married Billy Burroughs on August 2, 1976 in Dallas, Texas.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her daughter, Renee Defee of Grand Prairie, Texas; son, John T. Defee of Irving; grandchildren, Scott Defee and Ashleigh Defee of Hurst; mother, Melba Joy Sanderfer of Decatur; sisters, Sandra Erwin of Lewisville, Carol A. Sullen and husband, Dennis of Decatur; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Linda is preceded in death by her husband and her father.
