Boyd~ Linda Darlene Looney Young, 57, went to be with our Lord Thursday, September 26, 2019, in Boyd.
Funeral is 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 5, 2019 at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Boyd with burial in Boyd Cemetery.
Buddy Gertz will officiate. Pallbearers include Alex Nash, Jeremey Young, Wesley Young, Chris Miller, Micah Looney, Clayton Miller and Joseph “Joey” Robinson.
Linda was born on April 1, 1962, to Donald Ray and Shirley Marie (Stewart) Looney. She was united in marriage to Jerry Ray Young on November 8, 2016 in Decatur.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband, Jerry Young of Boyd, her daughters, Mitzi Miller and husband Ernest of Granbury, Nicole Faught of Ponder; her son, Alex Nash and wife Karen of Sanger; her daughter, Brittany Miller and husband Christopher of Azle; her sons, Wesley Young and wife Jessica of Boyd, Jeremey Young of Newark, and Christopher Young and wife Stephanie of Henderson; 9 grandchildren; her sister, Melissa Winters of Canton; and her brother, Don Looney, Jr. and wife Darla of Aztec, New Mexico.
