Linda Ann (Fortinberry) East

Decatur ~ Linda Ann East, 64, went to be with our Lord Friday, April 1, 2022.

Memorial Service is 10:30 a.m. Friday at First Baptist Church of Decatur.

Linda was born April 7, 1957 to Billy Sands and Bobbie Louis (Josserand) Fortinberry in Baytown, Texas. She was united in marriage on May 30, 1981 to the love of her life, Donald East in Baytown, Texas.  Linda graduated Westlake High School. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend to many who will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Billy and Bobbie Fortinberry; her sister, Sandra Ford; her aunt, Sue Grant; and cousin, Kyle Grant.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband, Donald East of Decatur; her daughter, Rachel Ryder and husband Jeremy of Austin; 3 sons, Andrew East of Decatur, Michael and Jesse East of Oklahoma City; 2 grandchildren, Chloe and Makensie Ryder; numerous extended family members, and a host of friends.

Linda was lighthearted, encouraging, and unique, She enjoyed butterflies and birds, beautiful songs, pink flowers, and binge watching a good show, Linda especially loved her family; she was incredibly proud of her children; she was adored by her granddaughters; Linda cared for her friends: and most of all, she loved Jesus. Linda will be deeply missed.
