Linda Sharon (Elliott) Laird

Linda Sharon Laird, 75, of Decatur, Texas went home to be with the Lord Thursday, December 24, 2020.

Linda was born May 27, 1945 to Roy and Beatrice Elliott in Fort Worth, Texas. She was united in marriage April 15, 1977 to Thomas Ray Laird in Decatur, Texas. Linda spent her early years working for the State School caring for special needs children. She spent her later years driving a school bus for Decatur ISD and TAPS. Linda enjoyed her bible studies and attending church at First United Methodist Church in Decatur. One of her greatest joys were her four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter Tori Rayshell Laird, and her sister, Joyce Boyle of Picayune, Mississippi.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband, Thomas Laird of Decatur; her daughters, Sharon Rogers and husband Justin of Saginaw, Kourtnie Laird of Decatur, and Sherry Huff of Decatur; her grandchildren, Timothy Metz, Megan Metz, Kaden Rogers, and Easton Rogers; extended family and a host of friends.
