Rhome ~ Linda Mason, 64, a retired cake decorator for Walmart, went to be with our Lord Sunday, April 13, 2014 in Rhome.
Services will be scheduled at a later date.
Linda was born July 23, 1949 to Thelma Wilson Filbert and Clyde Chronic in Whitney , Texas . The family suggests that memorials be made to any Breast Cancer Awareness Organization.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Thelma Filbert, her stepfather, Vernon Filbert, and her brother, Clyde Chronic.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her sons, Johnny Chronic and wife Ruth of Lubbock, Allen Wayne Carter of Arkansas, Joseph Edward Carter and wife Julie of Kentucky and Brian Kenneth Carter of Decatur; her daughter, Ann Atherton of Rhome; 10 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; her sisters, Charlotte James of Red Oak and Wanda Jackson of Dallas; other family members and a host of friends.
