Decatur ~ Linda Carol Stickler Ransom, 76, went to be with our Lord Thursday, June 13, 2019 in Fort Worth.
Graveside is 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at Bethel Cemetery in Decatur. Family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Monday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur.
Bro. Jack Watson will officiate.
Linda was born on May 31, 1943 to Velmer Edward and Beatrice (Hale) Stickler in Holdenville, Oklahoma. She was united in marriage to Jerry Douglas Ransom on January 12, 1968 in Bridgeport. Linda owned and operated her beauty salon “Cinderella Beauty Shop” in Decatur until she retired to spend time with her family. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Patsy Brown.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of almost 52 years, Jerry Ransom of Decatur; her daughter, Carrie Ransom Waddill and husband Billy of Decatur; her grandchildren, McKenna and Benjamin Waddill; her sisters, Connie Shawn, and Billie Dunn; her brother, Leonard Stickler; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
