Linda Houk Tate

Chico~ Linda Darlene Tate, 76, went to be with our Lord Monday, October 30, 2023 in Dallas.

Funeral is 2PM Saturday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Bridgeport with burial at Crafton Cemetery. Family will receive friends 2 hours prior to the service at the funeral home.

Doc. Dennis will officiate.

Linda was born on September 18, 1947 to Claud and Eula Mae (Reeves) Houk in Fort Worth. She was united in marriage to Robert Sibley Tate on February 21, 1965 in Oklahoma. Linda and Robert owned their own dairy farm for many years, Tate Dairy in Crafton. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, sister-in-law, and a friend to many that will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Claud and Eula Houk; her husband, Robert Tate; her brother, Lewis Houk; and her sisters, Jody Houlton and Wanda Sue Moore.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her sons, Mark Allen Tate and wife Carrie and Robert L. Tate; her grandchildren, Mark Austin Tate and wife Shaley, Casey Plummer and husband Luke, Katelynn Davis and husband Hagen, and Corey and Chris Tate; her great-grandchildren, Lane Plummer, Cooper Tate, Sibley Tate, Landree Plummer, Kutter Davis, CJ Plummer, and Emma Tate; her sister, Dorothy Moore and husband James; her brother-in-law’s, Grover Houlton and Marlin Moore; numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
