Decatur~ Linda “Lin” Impson Waldeck, 77, went to be with our Lord on Monday, March 24, 2025, in Lewisville.
Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 31st, 2025, at Hawkins Funeral Home in Bridgeport with a burial to follow at Old Town Cemetery. The family will receive friends 2 hours prior to service at the Funeral Home.
Thomas O’Neil will officiate.
Lin was born on March 17th, 1948, to Ebba Marie (Babin) and Leon Vinnie Impson in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She was united in marriage to Art Waldeck in October of 2000, in Black Forest, Colorado, and over the years created many cherished memories together. Lin graduated from Live Oak High School in Watson, LA and was a bookkeeper at Micro Tech Instruments. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Decatur. Lin was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and a friend to many who will miss her dearly.
Those left to cherish her memories are her husband of 24 years, Art Waldeck of Decatur; her daughters, Alison Delany of Decatur, and Kristi Kintz and her husband Tim of Highland Village; her sister Flo I. Williamson of Denham Springs, Louisiana; her brother, Leon V. Impson Jr. “Butch” of Denham Springs, Louisiana; her grandchildren Maddyn & Cooper Kintz, and several nieces and nephews, and a host of friends.
