Lindsey O'Donnell Penny, Jr.

Lindsey O’Donnell Penny, Jr., 61, of Decatur went to be with his Lord Saturday, March 1, 2025 in Richardson, Texas.

Mass of Christian Burial is 10:00 a.m. Friday at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church with burial at Oaklawn Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8:00 p.m. Thursday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur with Rosary at 7:00 p.m.

Lindsey was born August 1, 1963 to Lindsey O’Donnell “Pete” and Linda Elizabeth (Strickland) Penny in Marble Falls, Texas. He was united in marriage May 28, 1994 to Ann Marie Pennartz in Decatur, Texas. Lindsey was an IT Systems Engineer, for Twisted X. Lindsey proudly served our country in the United States Navy, the Wise County Veterans Group will provide honors. He was a beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend to many who will miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Pete and Linda Penny.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Ann Penny of Decatur; his 2 sons, Trey Penny of Decatur and Garrett Penny of Chico; 2 daughters, Meagan Penny of Decatur, and Erin Penny of Decatur; his brother, Larry Brock of Decatur; his sister, Lavon Martin of Graford; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
