Decatur ~ Litha S. Moss, 81, a retired sales clerk, went to be with our Lord Friday, October 28, 2016 in Decatur.
Graveside service is 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at Plainview cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Hawkins Funeral Home Decatur.
Rev. Tracy Epting will officiate.
Litha was born on October 24, 1935 to Charlie and Mary (Stevens) Finley in Cottondale, Texas. She was united in marriage to Emory W. Moss on March 14, 1954 in Stoney, Texas
She was preceded in death by her parents; 1 sister; 2 brothers; her grandson, Tobi Moss; her great grandchildren, Mason Hendrix, Billy Wayne Robinson, Mary Marie Harris.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 62 years, Emory W. Moss of Decatur; her daughters, Betty Throneberry of Lees Summit, Missouri, Mary Robinson and husband Billy of Waxahachie, Debbie Cordero and husband Patrick of Decatur, Sarah Davis and husband Thomas of Decatur, Bobbie Hendrix of Decatur, Nancy Resma and husband Ernest of Decatur; her 13 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; her 2 brothers; her 4 sisters; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
