Decatur: Lloyd Boyce Fenn, 76, our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, son and friend returned to our Heavenly Father on January 29, 2014.

Funeral service is 10 a.m. Saturday, February 1, 2014 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 202 East Thompson Street in Decatur, Texas. Interment: Oaklawn Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Friday at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home.

Pallbearers include Kevin Fenn, Walter Fenn, Thomas Antonucci, Larry Martin, Matthew Humble, and Brett Butler.

Boyce was born July 17, 1937 in Pomerene, Arizona to Walter Leroy and Emma Leona (Morris) Fenn. He grew up in Pomerene as the youngest of 10 children. He attended the University of Arizona in Tucson where he earned a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry. He continued his studies at the University of California Riverside where he earned a Masters and Doctorate Degree in Soil Chemistry.

During this time Boyce met and married his sweetheart Lewella Arrington for time and all eternity in the Mesa Arizona LDS temple on January 31, 1962. Together they became the loving parents to six children.

Boyce was a life-long faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He also had a distinguished career as a Soil Scientist for Texas A & M University.

Lewella predeceased Boyce two years ago on February 2, 2012. He was fortunate to find happiness again in his second marriage to Roselyn Stevens of West Jordan, Utah on June 22, 2012.

Boyce is survived by his loving wife, Roselyn Fenn; six children, Walter Fenn and wife, Cheryl, Kevin Fenn and wife, Sheree, Tanna Antoncci and husband, Thomas, Erin Humble and husband, Matthew, Teresa Martin and husband, Larry, and Debra Butler and husband, Brett; 26 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, brother, Waldo Fenn and sister, Margorie Andersen of Pomerene, Arizona.

Boyce is preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Lewell, his parents, his brothers, Max, Golden, Jedde, Clarence and Toby; sisters, Kathleen and Drucilla; and grandson, Jacob Butler.
