Lois Jean (Allphin) Cole

Decatur ~ Lois Jean Cole, 83, went to be with our Lord Saturday, June 16, 2023.

Lois was born June 20, 1939 to Harry Junior and Lois (Sawyer) Allphin in Wichita, Kansas. She was united in marriage February 29, 1972 to Peter Anthony Cole, Sr. in Wichita, Kansas. Lois was in the education industry for many years as a teacher’s aide, among other jobs in education also. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend to many who will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Lois Allphin; and a daughter, Susan Martinez.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 51 years, Peter Cole, Sr.; her son, Peter Cole, Jr and wife Angie of Decatur; her daughter, Debbie Bramlett of Omaha, Nebraska;  9 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; son, Greg Bramlett and wife Nancy of Lakewood, Colorado; extended family members and a host of friends.
