Alvord: Lola Mae Fugate, 91, a retired nurse's aide, went to be with our Lord, Thursday, April 12, 2012 in Decatur, Texas.
Graveside service is 2 p.m. Sunday, April 15th in Alvord Cemetery with Dan Green officiating.
Lola Mae was born March 4, 1921 to Homer and Dixie (Shaw) Hancock. She was united in marriage to G. R. Fugate on June 26, 1937 in Decatur, Texas and was married 57 years at his death on April 22, 1994. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Meldon Hancock and her sister, Alpha Gose.
Lola Mae was a member of the First Baptist Church in Alvord.
Left behind to cherish her memory are sister, Agnes Raley of Fort Worth; three nephews, Gary Hancock and wife Martha of Bowie, James Patrick and wife Paula of Alvord, and Ronald Raley and wife Kim of Fort Worth; numerous great-nieces, great-nephews and a host of friends.
