Loneta Lois (Goode) Idell

Wizard Wells~ Loneta Lois (Goode) Idell, 66, went to be with our Lord on Friday, May 14, 2021 in Wizard Wells, Texas.

Graveside Service will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at Wizard Wells Cemetery. Family will receive friends between 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Bridgeport.

Pastor Chad Geeslin will officiate.

Loneta was born on January 25, 1955 to Alfred E. and Delmar (Bealle) Goode in Bridgeport, Texas. She was a Scan Coordinator and Trainer for Lowe’s Grocery Stores. Loneta was a longtime member of Wizard Wells Baptist Church. She was united in marriage to the love of her life James Earl Idell on June 3, 1972 in Flatwood, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James, and her 3 brothers, Earl, Don and Carl Goode.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her son James Earl Idell II and wife Leslie of Wizard Wells; her daughters, Candi Idell Brown and husband Thomas of Davis, Oklahoma, Cori Yankovich and husband Michael of West Point, New York, and Lori Mangus and husband Rob of Bellevue; her 12 grandchildren; her 7 great-grandchildren; her sisters, Vivian Cox of Chico, and Nora Hotz of Decatur; numerous extended family members and a host of good friends and neighbors.
