Loretta May Robinson

Springtown ~ Loretta May Robinson, 86, went to be with our Lord Wednesday, February 15, 2023 in Bridgeport.

Graveside service for Loretta May Robinson, 86, of Springtown will be at a later date at Fort Richardson National Cemetery in Anchorage, Alaska in care of Janssen Funeral Home in Anchorage.

Loretta was born on August 12, 1936 to James and Lorene (Bright) Burrow in Thida, Arkansas. She was united in marriage to Harrison Levon (Robbie) Robinson on May 16, 1954 in Bradford, Arkansas. Loretta retired from Sohio/B.P. She and Robbie spent many happy times at Camp Bee and sojourns doing the work of the National Evangelism with Sojourners. She was a beloved mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend to many who will miss her dearly. She was a faithful member of the Anchorage church of Christ in Alaska until relocating to Springtown, Texas, following the passing of her husband in August 2021. She appreciated her contacts with the Springtown church of Christ while in Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brother.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are daughter, Yvonne Moore and husband Glen of Springtown; son, Mark Robinson and wife Marge of Anchorage, Alaska; 5 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sister, Barbara Kumpe of Jacksonville, Arkansas; and numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

Her family would like to thank the staff at Springtown Park Nursing, Bridgeport Medical Lodge, Solaris Hospice, and Texas Health Harris Azle for the care and comfort provided to Loretta.
