Paradise ~ Lou Vee Bridges, 85, an administrative assistant, went to be with our Lord Sunday, May 25, 2014 in Decatur.
Funeral is 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 29, 2014 at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Paradise Cemetery. No set visitation.
Rev. Gary Sessions will officiate and be assisted by Dr. Dan Sebert. Pallbearers include Gary Potts, Mike Overton, James McGilvrey, Dickie Clement, Darnel Willis, Cody Gillispie, Kevin Burns and Paul Wood.
Lou was born on June 21, 1928 to William and Annie (Albritton) Bridges in Boyd. She was united in marriage to Bob Randall Pruden. Lou was an administrative assistant for General Electric, the USA and Europe divisions. She was a member of the Paradise Methodist Church. Lou was the secretary and treasurer of the National Water Shed Coalition and was a former president and secretary for the Wise County Water Board.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are extended family members and numerous friends.
