Bridgeport ~ Lou Ellen Lum, 85, a homemaker, went to be with our Lord Monday, January 30, 2017 in Floresville, Texas.
Funeral is 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 3, 2017 at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Bridgeport with burial in Lonestar Cemetery in Chico. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Randy Tidmore and Ralph Noack will officiate. Pallbearers include Landry Burwell, Blaine Noack, Landon Shaw, Logan Shaw, Bart Shaw, Jeffrey Burwell.
Lou Ellen was born on October 12, 1931 to Willian and Sally (Dickenson) Newton in Chico, Texas. She was united in marriage to Lavern Lum on October 16, 1998 in Bridgeport. Lou Ellen was a member of the C & Tyler Church of Christ in McAlester, Oklahoma.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Cliff Tidmore, and her second husband, Lavern Lum; her brothers, J.T. and Carmie: her sisters, Annie May, Murrieta, and Naomia.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her son, Randy Tidmore and wife Cynthia of Alderson, Oklahoma; her daughter, Kathy Noack and husband Ralph of Floresville, Texas; her grandchildren, Dena, Jessica, Tim, Tony, Lydia, Julia, and Matthew; 12 great-grandchildren; her brother, Melton Newton and wife Judy of Allen; her sister, Flora Jean Frazier of Texas; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
