Decatur ~ Louis Wayne Gage, 67, went to be with our Lord Tuesday, February 21, 2017 in Decatur.
Funeral is 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 26, 2017 at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Oaklawn Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Rev. Gerre Joiner will officiate. Pallbearers include Jim Mason, J.C. Mason, Johnny Coker, B.J. Cleveland, Corky Roberts, and Larry Short. Honorary pallbearers are Jerry Milan, Wiley Meador, Clay Bailey, and Ryan Mitchell.
Louis was born on July 17, 1949 to Coke and Marie (Drygould) Gage in Decatur, Texas.
He was preceded in death by Coke L. Gage and Marie Gage Woodall.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his brother, C.L. Gage and wife Patti of Decatur, George Gage of Decatur; his sister, Marsha Gage of Decatur; his brother, Steve Gage of Dallas; his nieces, Traci Gage Peacock of Decatur, Katherine Gage of California; his nephew, Will Gage of Paradise; numerous great nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
