Louis Leo Zarantonello

Chico ~ Louis Zarantonello, 73, went to be with our Lord Saturday, December 9, 2023.

Memorial is 1-4:00 p.m. Sunday, December 17, 2023 at Wise County Park Pavilion.

Louis was born August 15, 1950 to Louis Frank and Marry Evelyn (Mouser) Zarantonello in Alton, Illinois, He was united in marriage January 18, 2014 to Velerie McCormick in Chico, Texas. Louis was a truck driver since the age of 14, retiring from Bridgeport Tank Trucks. He proudly served our country in the United States Army, serving in the 101st Airborne, 2 tours in Vietnam. Louis enjoyed golf and time with his family and friends. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and friend to many who will miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis Zarntonello and Marry Mouser; and son, Jay Zarantonello.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife, Velerie Zarantonello; children, Rebecca “Becky” Demars and husband Dave, Louis C. “Boomer” Zarantonello and wife Yvonne, Keith Zarantonello, Anthony “Tony” Zarantonello, Melody Vernum, Kathy Vernum, Kevin, Largent, and Pam Ellison; grandchildren, Justin, Terresa, Infinity, Douglas, Dewayne, Kaylee, Ryder, Dayton, and Ivy; great-grandchildren, Calel, Zoey, William, Jay, and Alexandria; brothers, Mike Zarantonello and wife Kim, and Mark Zarantonello and wife Julie; his sisters, Debbie Huckabee, and Terreas Anderson and husband Gary; extended family members and a host of friends.
