Chico ~ Lucille Weatherly, 90, a housewife, went to be with our Lord Thursday, December 15, 2016 in Decatur.
Funeral is 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 17, 2016 at the First Baptist Church in Chico with burial in Chico Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Friday at the church.
Rev. Larry Potts will officiate. Pallbearers include Bart Weatherly, Seth Weatherly, Joey Watson, Cameron Weatherly, Ubaldo Garcia, Cody Burdine, Colby Burdine, Ben Burdine, Camden Garcia, Jeremy Polk, Tim Mitchum, Mike Haynes, and Jordan Polk.
Lucille was born on August 4, 1926 to George and Bertha Mae (Holt) Easley in Bridgeport. She was united in marriage to Harvey Weatherly Sr. on October 25, 1943 in Decatur. Lucille was a member of the First Baptist Church in Chico, and the Chico Quilting Club.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harvey Weatherly Sr.; her son, Larry Weatherly; her great granddaughter, Addison Weatherly; her brother, Marion Easley; her sisters, Irene Cobb, and Novella Denton.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her sons, Johnny Weatherly and wife JoAnn of Paradise, Harvey Weatherly Jr. and wife Betty of Chico, George Weatherly and wife Kelli of Bridgeport; her grandchildren, Stephanie Mitchum and husband Tim, Angie Watson and husband Joey, Bart Weatherly and wife Jo, Seth Weatherly, Cody Burdine and wife Stephanie, Leah Wood, Sabrina Polk and husband Jeremy; 14 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grnadchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
