BOYD -- Luis Ray Iglesias, 47, a retired heavy equipment operator went to be with the Lord Sunday, March 22, 2009 in Boyd.
Memorial Service: 10 a.m. Friday at Christian-Hawkins Funeral Chapel. Bro. Roland Hodge officiating.
Luis was born the son of Luis M. Sr. and Maria (Mercedes) Martinez Iglesias on August 25,1961 in Tapastas,Cuba. Luis married Vickey "Zoe" McWhirter on February 7,1977 in Hobart, Oklahoma.
Preceded in death by: Father Luis M. Iglesias Sr. and Brothers: Jose & Albert Iglesias.
Those left to cherish his memory: wife, Zoe of Boyd; sons, Luis Ray, Jr. Iglesias and wife Chelsea of Bridgeport, Adam Iglesias and wife Leah of Paradise; daughter, Summer Iglesias and husband Frank Estevez of Tampa ,Florida; six grandchildren: A.J., Autumn, Austin, Audrie, Aiden, and Zofia; mother, Maria Martinez Iglesias of Boyd; Brothers: Ralph, Leonard, George, Jesus and Johnny Iglesias; Sisters: Luisa Horton, Juana Wenmohs; Step Brothers & Sisters: Lelo, Luis M. Jr., Edward, Jessica, Estrala, Bella Iglesias, and Blanca Flores, Eva Gomez; numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
