Lunsford, Herman Ervin

Funeral service is 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 27th at the Full Gospel Holiness Church in Fort Worth with Reverend Walter Beayrd officiating. Interment will be in the Boyd Cemetery, Boyd, Texas. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Monday at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home.

Pallbearers include, Kevin Moore, Joshua Ruddick, Steve Parker, and Daniel Jones.

Herman was born November 15, 1929 in Hunt County, Texas to Floyd Ervin and Maeola Rowan Lunsford. He married Geneva Dean Jones on October 1, 1983 in Fort Worth. Herman retired as minister for the Full Gospel Holiness Church, but he continued his ministry when he was called.

Left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 26 years, Geneva Lunsford of Newark; son, Rodger Dale Lunsford of San Antonio; three daughters, Sharon Lunsford of Rhome, Reba Kempe and husband, Clyde of Quilan, Texas, Brenda Moore and husband, Daniel of Saginaw, Texas; two stepsons, Sam Elrod of Newark and William Elrod of Weatherford; stepdaughter- Patricia Wade of North Richland Hills, Texas; 13 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
