Lusha Ann (Erwin) Lester

Lusha Ann Lester, 83, 0f Burneyville, Oklahoma went to be with our Lord Wednesday, June 1, 2022.

Graveside Service is 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 9, 2022 at Oaklawn Cemetery in Decatur, Texas.

Gerre Joiner will officiate.

Lusha was born Septemeber 11, 1938 to Arvie and Ethel (Pender) Erwin in Duncan, Oklahoma. She was united in marriage January 31, 1958 to Edwin Hugh Lester, Sr. in Decatur, Texas. Lusha graduated Boyd High School and was a retired Beatician in the Cosmetology Industry for many years. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to many who will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents; several brother and sisters.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 64 years, Edwin Lester, Sr. of Burneyville, Oklahoma; her sons, Edwin Hugh Lester, Jr. of Boyd, and Marion Lester of Burneyville, Oklahoma; 4 grandchildren, Austin, James, Cassidy and Lindsey; 2 great-grandchildren, Tygan and Caden; several nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members, and a host of friends.
