Chico ~ Lynda Sue Manning, 79, a librarian, went to be with our Lord Wednesday, August 3, 2016 in Bridgeport.
Graveside service is 10:30 a.m. Saturday, August 6, 2016 at Chico Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Friday at Hawkins Funeral Home.
Rev. Gary Sessions will officiate.
Lynda was born on November 13, 1936 to Joe and Minnie (Hague) Hunter in Decatur. She retired from Chico ISD as a librarian.
Lynda was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Tandy Manning; her daughter, Penny Manning; her brother, Ralph Hunter; and her sisters, JoBeth Hunter, Pansy Hunter, and Polly Wainscott.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her son, Dewayne Manning and wife Tracy of McKinney; her grandchildren, Jason Manning and wife Brandi, Melissa Manning, Mason Manning, and Connor Manning; her great grandchildren, Joey Manning and Drew Manning; other relatives and a host of friends.
