Lynda Arlene (Russell) Streng

Decatur ~ Lynda Arlene Streng, 59, went to be with our Lord Thursday, November 4, 2021 in Arlington.

Memorial service is at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at First Baptist Church in Boyd.

Lynda was born October 3, 1962 to Robert Ray and Arlene (Dankle) Russell in Ft. Worth, Texas.  She was united in marriage on December 5, 1997 to John Streng in Euless, Texas.

Lynda owned and managed Amazing Grace Stables and Boarding; she worked in agriculture for many years and had a strong love for horses. She was a beloved wife, daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to many who will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Russell, and dear friend, Jim Calvert. Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband, John Streng of Decatur; her daughters, Emily Streng (Trevor) of Decatur and Stacy Freeman (Tom) of Quebec, Canada; her son, Kyle Streng (Andrew) of Tampa, Florida; her grandchildren, Maxine and Nathan of Quebec, Canada; her brother, Michael Russell (Tammy) of Boyd; her mother, Arlene Russell of Boyd; numerous extended family members; and a host of friends.
