Rosenberg ~ Lyndon Lee Jones, 86, formerly of Mansfield went to be with our Lord Wednesday, November 15, 2017 in Fort Worth.
Graveside is 12:00 p.m. Saturday, November 18, 2017 at Bethel Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Friday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur.
Honorary pallbearers are Tracy Redden, Derek Redden, Troy Wright, Lance Scarle, Jeff Wright, Jeremy Handyside, Christopher Handyside, Dean Chapman, Ronnie Chapman, and Richard Chapman.
Lyndon was born on July 7, 1931 to Fred and Hattie (Hardman) Jones in Goldthwaite, Texas. He was united in marriage to Vivian Elva Stapp on October 7, 1956 in Carlsbad, New Mexico. Lyndon retired from Lockheed as a computer tech.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; his daughter Pat Richard; his granddaughter, Toni Wright.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his daughters, Bobbi Hattendorf and husband Billy of Fort Worth, Cathy Driskell and husband Orville of Saginaw, Toni Martin of Cleburne; 14 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; 4 nephews; 2 nieces; and a host of friends.
