Alvord ~ Lynn Wayne McMullen, 60, went to be with our Lord Monday, October 10, 2016 in Bowie.
Funeral is 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 14, 2016 at First Baptist Church of Alvord with burial in Alvord Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the Hawkins Funeral Home Decatur.
Rev. Bill Cleveland and Larry McMullen will officiate. Pallbearers include James McMullen, Scott Henexson, Jeffrey McMullen, Cody Skeeters, Melvin Cantrell, Tyler McMullen and Bryce Berry
Lynn was born on November 8, 1955 to Lawrence and Velma (Williams) McMullen in Dallas, Texas. He was united in marriage to Debra Farley on November 20, 1998 in Rockwall, Texas. Lynn was an automotive dent repair technician. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Alvord.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 17 years, Debbi McMullen of Alvord; his daughters, Tiffany Ann Vernon and husband Bob of Mckinney, Jeniffer Davis of Alvord, Ashley Cantrell and husband Melvin of Alvord; his sons, Micheal Wayne McMullen and wife Laura of Savannah, and Deryl Peoples, Jr. of Rockwall; his 15 grandchildren; his bothers, Lawrence Alex McMullen Jr. and Roger Eugene McMullen; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
