M.E. "Doc" Weiss, 81, went to be with our Lord on Friday, August 28, 2009.
Memorial service will be at a later date.
Doc was born on July 9, 1928 in Charles City, Iowa to Elmer Heinrich Carl and Loretta (Ehling) Weiss. He married Beth Marie Granner on July 12, 1947 in Charles City, Iowa. Doc was the owner of 5 Points Package in Haslet, Texas.
Survived by his wife of 62 years, Beth Weiss of Rhome; daughter, Jan Peek and husband, Jim of Rhome; son, Keith Weiss and wife, Carolyn of Plano; four grandchildren, Jenny Miller and husband, Chris of Plano, Douglas Weiss and wife, Jessica of Pfluegerville, Chris Peek and wife, Jen of Rhome, Jessica Peek of Keller; three great grandchildren, Anastasia, Matthew, Brady; mother, Loretta Weiss; sister, Shirle Winkler; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Doc is preceded in death by his father, son, Brian Weiss and brother, Leland Weiss.
