Graveside service is 10 a.m. Friday at Bethel Cemetery with the Reverend Doug Vaughn officiating. Family will receive friends on Thursday, July 31st at the Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home.
Honorary pallbearers are Michael Brotzman, Kevin Brotzman, John Gillespie, Michael Lewis, Mike Haynes, Billy Hardee, and Jesse Hardee.
Mable was born June 2, 1917 in Ardmore, Oklahoma to A. L. and Emily Anice (Edwards) Bouldin. She married Lawrence Lewis on April 22, 1944 in Harlington, Texas.
She was past president of the Nursing Home Residence Council and was very active in the Senior Citizens Center in Decatur. She was a long time member of the Bell Baptist Church.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her daughters, Susan Brotzman and husband, Larry of Kyle, Texas, Sheila Hardee and husband, Weldon of Decatur, Joan Jackson and husband, Kent of Sunset, Texas; daughter-in-law, Mary Lewis; grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, and a host of friends.
Mable is preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Lawrence Lewis, sons, Bob, Bill, Jerry, Larry and John Lewis; daughter, Dorothy Rodebaugh; grandson, Robert Lewis, 7 brothers and 1 sister.
