DECATUR--Mable Lois Shearman, 90, a homemaker, died Tuesday, June 5, 2007 in Decatur.
No service is planned for Mrs. Shearman. She was cremated by Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur.
Mable Lois Shearman was born on May 13, 1917 in Brock, Texas, the daughter of James Houston and Myrtle (Williams) Hardaway.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, and her husband.
She is survived by: her son, Jim Nichols and wife Rae of Boyd; 3 granddaughters, Debra Stevens, Tammy Kelly, and Taylor Nichols; 2 grandsons, David Nichols and Logan Nichols; 2 sisters, Donella Rodgers and Judith Davenport; 3 brothers, Donnie Hardaway, Bob Hardaway, and Tommy Hardaway; and numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
