Rhome ~ Margaret “Maggie” West, 70, a retired property manager, went to be with our Lord Tuesday, March 22, 2016 in Arlington.

Maggie was born on October 3, 1945 to C.L. and Vinnie (Sims) West in Rhome, Texas. She loved to make people laugh. Maggie also loved to move around, this is a fact that ALL of her family can attest to. Anyone that has ever eaten her chocolate pie will agree that she probably made the best pie in Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, C.L. and Vinnie West; her sisters, Winnie Ruth Darter, Berta Mae Milligan, and Jeannie Dempe.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her daughter, Rene Vaughn of Grand Prairie; her son, Mike Vaughn and wife Phyllis of Bowie: her daughter, Dee Romine and husband Mike of Rhome; 3 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; her brother, Billy Franklin West of Bonham; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
