Malcolm was born on May 3, 1937 to Malcolm Sr. and Juanita (Sprouse) Shepherd in Washington, D.C. He was united in marriage to Glenda Kay Hernupont on March 20, 1958 in Weatherford.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 54 years, Glenda Shepherd; and his son, Malcolm Shepherd III.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his grandsons, Malcolm Shepherd IV and wife Cherish of Decatur, Eathen Shepherd of Fort Worth; his brother, Phillip Shepherd and wife Sylvia, of Elliston, Virginia; his sister, Sandra Snyder and husband Roy of South Fork, Colorado; other family members, and a host of friends.
