Mannie Arzella Harris

Graveside service was 11 a.m. Monday at Oaklawn Cemetery with Reverend Gerre Joiner officiating.

Mannie was born January 13, 1921 in Wise County to Barney Lloyd and Emma Leola Mann McDowell. She married James W. Harris in Decatur in 1977. Mannie worked for Stripling-Cox for over 15 years as a commercial artist and was a member of the First Baptist Church.

Left behind to cherish her memory are her daughter Robin Trietsch May and husband, Jim of Decatur; seven grandchildren, Torey Winkler, Christopher Thorne, Paul Thorne, Beth May Fagan, James May, Jr., Sterling May and Andrew May; six great grandchildren, Hannah, Lauran, Henry, India, Ivy and Ian.
