RHOME -- Marcella Mondrick, 90, went to be with our Lord on Saturday, Sept. 21, 2007 in Weatherford.
Funeral: 11 a.m. Tuesday at Christian-Hawkins Funeral Chapel. Burial: Aurora Cemetery. Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Monday. Rev. Jimmy Withers will officiate. Pallbearers will be: Bruce Legate, Mike Black, Josh Cooper, Hayden Rasor, Gater Legate, and Gunner Legate.
Marcella was born on April, 1, 1917 in Collin County, Texas, to Horace and Fanny (Dodd) Scroggins. She was a retired bookkeeper and had lived in the Rhome area for 80 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Rhome.
Marcella was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Gus Mondrick, 5 brothers, 1 sister, and 1 nephew.
Survivors: daughter, Althea Cooper and husband Archie of Weatherford; two granddaughters, Lori Legate and husband Bruce, Donna Black and husband Mike of Weatherford; one grandson, Josh Cooper and wife Sasheen of Weatherford; seven great grandchildren, Hayden, Gator, Gunner, Mikenna, Saylor, Ali, and Maycee.
