Marcus was born May 26, 1960 in Fort Worth, Texas, to James and Alice Dryer Little. He married Brenda Hutchinson on June 18, 1990 in Johnson County, Texas. Marcus served in the United States Army.

Survived by wife, Brenda Little; daughters, Jennifer and Cristina Little all of Tyler; mother, Alice Brynie of Decatur; brother, Edwin Joseph Little and wife, Nancy of Grand Prairie; sister, Rebecca Mosley and husband, Dennis of Decatur; special friend, Cynthia Chapman; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

Marcus was preceded in death by his father and sister, Joyce McGovern.
