Margaret Elizabeth Reynolds

Margaret Elizabeth Reynolds, 90, of Boyd went to be with our Lord on Monday, March 24, 2025, in Bridgeport.

Funeral service is 2:00 PM Friday March 28, 2025, at the Rhome Church of Christ with burial at a later date at Crowell Cemetery. Family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service at the Church.

Officiant will be Roy Deaver. Pallbearers are John Thompson, Danny Thompson, Max Gerhert, Joe Haynie, Rod Thompson and Tod Thompson.

Margaret was born March 26, 1934, Wafford Conrad “Pox” Thompson and Daisy Mae (Phillips) Thompson in Crowell, Texas. She was united in marriage to Lenard Roy Reynolds, Sr. on August 30, 1952, in Crowell, Texas. Margaret attended Crowell high school, after her marriage to Lenard she became a homemaker, and took great pride in caring for her family. She attended the Rhome Church of Christ, was a member of The Red Hat Society, enjoyed antiquing and was proud to work with Campaigns for Christ. Margaret was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend to many who will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Pox and Daisy Mae Thompson; her husband, of 72 years Lenard Roy Reynolds, Sr.; her brothers, J.C. Thompson, Joe Don Thompson, Jerry Frank Thompson; and her, sister Dorothy Maye Autrey.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her sons, Leonard Roy Reynolds Jr. and wife Cindy of Aurora and Gary Don Reynolds and wife Jan of Cimmaron New Mexico; her 3 grand-children, Reyn, Beau, and Kara; her 6 great grandchildren, Payton, Grayson, Walker, Edith, Evelyn and Tate; her brother, Bryant Thompson and wife Carolyn from Crowell, Texas; numerous extended family members and a host of friends.
