Margie Sue Reynolds

Chico~ Margrette “Margie” Sue Reynolds, 75, went to be with our Lord on Saturday, May 14, 2022 in Chico.

A private service will be held at a later date to honor Margie.

Margie was born on December 3, 1946 to Newt and Marie (Turley) Hunn in Paris, Texas. She was united in marriage to Victor “Vic” Reynolds on March 31, 1972 in Ryan, Oklahoma and together 41 wonderful years until his passing in 2013. Margie was a retired teacher and graduated with the Class of 1989 with her Masters from University of North Texas. She taught many years in Chico Independent School District. Margie loved to golf every chance she could and had many trophies and awards to show for it. She was a longtime member of the First Presbyterian Church. The family will remember her loving nature, good heart, and love of her church. Her favorite hymn was Just a Closer Walk with Thee. Margie will be missed by all that knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Vic Reynolds; and her son, Jeffrey Brooks.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her sisters, Barbara McCasland and Betty Henry; several nieces and nephews; numerous extended family members and a host of friends.
