Margie Ruth (White) Wilson

Decatur ~ Margie Ruth Wilson, 91, went to be with our Lord Tuesday, January 11, 2022. Graveside Service is 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 14, 2022 at Oaklawn Cemetery.

Gerre Joiner will officiate.

Margie was born March 11, 1930 to Elisha D. and Laura Lee (Wilson) White in Greenwood, Texas. She was united in marriage June 4, 1949 to Jesse Wayne Wilson in Denton, Texas. Margie was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend to many who will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Elisha and Laura Lee White; her husband, Jesse Wayne Wilson; her brothers, Herbert, Harrell, Alvin, and Jesse White; her sisters, Alene Crunk, Bonnie Wainscott, and Faye Bishop.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her sons, Deryl Wilson of Decatur, and Gary Wilson and wife Debra of Decatur; her grandchildren, Randi Eyster and husband Randy of Paradise, and Clint Wilson and wife Natalie of Decatur; 4 great-grandchildren, Ellie and Gunner Eyster and McCoy and Reed Wilson; extended family members and a host of friends.
