Bridgeport ~ Maria De La Luz (Lucy) DeHoyos, 76, a homemaker, entered into Eternal Rest Wednesday, January 17, 2018 in Decatur.
Memorial Service is 12:00 p.m. Saturday, January 20, 2017 at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Decatur, TX. Family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. -12:00 p.m. at the church prior to the service.
Renee Palmino will officiate.
Lucy was born on September 7, 1941 to Pedro and Guadalupe (Cervantes) Padilla in Poth, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her husband Juan DeHoyos.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her sons, Emilio DeHoyos and wife Cecilia of Bridgeport, John DeHoyos and wife Danielle of Bridgeport, daughter Hilda Garza of Dallas; her grandchildren, Praxedis, Jacob, Eddie, Anthony, Isaiah, Matthew, Eli, Aaliyah, and Ezekiel; her great grandchild, Kinsley; Her brothers, Johnny Padilla, Tony Padilla, Ramon Padilla and Pablo Padilla; her sisters Juanita Cantu, Paula Courvier, Carmen Griego and Andrea Ruiz: as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
