CHICO -- Marie Lowrey, 92, a homemaker, died Thursday, Aug. 24, 2006 in Decatur. Funeral: 3 p.m. Sunday at Morris Memorial United Methodist Church in Chico. Burial: Pleasant Grove Cemetery #3. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Mrs. Lowrey was born Oct. 11, 1913 in Horatio, Arkansas to R.A. and Carrie Casey Knox. She married H.G. "Gose" Lowrey June 8, 1935 in Decatur. He preceded her in death along with an infant son, Hubert Leon Lowrey and two brothers and three sisters. Mrs. Lowrey was a member of the Morris Memorial United Methodist Church. Survivors: Daughter, Jean McKeever and husband, LeeRoy of Chico; son, John Lowrey and wife, Vicki of Grapevine; grandchildren, Tony and Rick McKeever, Randy and Michael Lowrey and Delinda Buckner; great-grandchildren, Patrick, Elizabeth, Stephanie, Curtis, Shelby, Logan, Matt and Megan; and numerous nieces and nephews.
