Chico: Marion Kert "Smokey" Jones, 56, a disposal operator, went to be with our Lord, Thursday, March 14, 2013 in Chico.
Memorial service is 11 a.m. Friday, March 22nd at The Shepherds House in Chico with Bro. Kern Choate officiating.
Marion was born Sepember 13, 1956 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was united in marriage to Debra Osborn on April 13, 2009 in Alvord. Marion is preceded in death by his father; two brothers, David and Tommy Jones; and first wife, Cassie Jones.
Left behind to cherish his memory are his wife, Debra Jones of Chico; three sons, Lee Jones and wife Bonnie of Ardmore, Oklahoma, Ray Jones and wife Jill of Bowie, and Chris Jones of Abilene; two daughters, Tammy and Lisa Jones of Bowie; numerous grandchildren; mother, Louise Vowman; three stepchildren, Robert Harsh of Rhome, Ronnie Harsh of South Carolina and Tiffany Matthews of Chico; three sisters, Marie Wolsey and husband Don of Newport, Texas; Becky Chambers of Clovis, New Mexico and Karen Perez of Bellevue, Texas; other family members and a host of friends.
