Mark Allen Thomas

Mark Allen Thomas, 71, left this earth Saturday, October 26th, 2024 in Denton, Texas.

Mark was born May 1st, 1953 to William F. and Rita (Mark) Thomas in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was united in marriage September 19th, 1980 to Jane Archbold in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Mark was a retired Chemical Engineer after many years in the Oil & Gas Industry. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend to many who will miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Rita Thomas; a brother, William F. Thomas, Jr.; and a sister, Natalie Thomas.

Those left to cherish his memory are, his wife of 45 years, Jane Thomas of Decatur; 2 daughters, Lydia Carter and husband Perry, Jr. of Decatur, and Sarah Thomas of Houston; a son, Mark Allen Thomas, Jr. and wife Pardeese of California; 3 grandchildren, Casra, Weston, and Barrett; extend family members and a host of friends.
