Marsha Lee Carpenter

Bridgeport ~ Marsha Lee Carpenter, 71, went to be with our Lord Tuesday, August 13, 2024 in Decatur.

Funeral Service is 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 17th, at Hawkins Funeral Home in Bridgeport. Family will receive friends 2 hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Marsha was born on December 14, 1952 to Wade E. and Mary Nell (Stanley) Armstrong in Pampa, Texas. She was united in marriage to the love of her life, Deaun Carpenter on August 7, 1971 in Boyd. Marsha was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, sister, and a friend to many that will miss her dearly.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 53 years, Deaun Carpenter of Bridgeport; her sons, Scott Eric Carpenter and wife Pauline of Decatur and Brent Allen Carpenter and wife Misty Cherise of Paradise; her grandchildren, Victoria, Summer, Ryan, Dawson, Sydney, and Owen; her great-grandchild, Ryder; her brother, Billy Neil Armstrong and wife Janet of Bridgeport; several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
