Martha Ozelle Ensey

Chandler~ Martha Ozelle Ensey, 97, went to be with our Lord on Sunday, June 27, 2021 in Tyler, Texas.

Funeral will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 9, 2021 at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Bridgeport. Family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Martha was born on June 25, 1924 to Joseph “Joe” and Minnie May (Morton) VanHoose in Bridgeport, Texas. She worked in retail for Walmart as a salesperson and for Zales Corporation in accounting for many years. Martha was full of life, and will be remembered by her family as feisty and fun. She had a giving heart and will be missed by all that knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her children, Mary Ann and Charlie Gene Traister; her brothers, Albert and Joe Marvin VanHoose; her husbands, Warren Traister, Lowe Howard, and Jay Ensey; and her great-granddaughter, Page.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her sister, Reba Alexander and husband Odell of Chandler; her brother, Raymond VanHoose and wife Glenda of Bridgeport; her granddaughter, Ashley Reis; her grandson, Harley Traister; her great-grandchildren, Nichols, Matthew, and Dessilyn all of Fort Worth; several cousins, step-children, nieces, nephews, numerous extended relatives, and a host of friends.
