Marty Elleen Johnson

Dallas~ Marty Elleen Johnson, 80, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, January 22, 2025 in Dallas, Texas. 

Marty was born on December 19th, 1944 in Abilene, Texas to Martina (Anderson) Kennedy and her husband “Doc” who raised Marty all of her life. Upon graduation from High School she went on to attend Texas Women’s University and received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing. Marty was an RN and her career in nursing spanned many years, working at various facilities while also raising her family. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be missed by all that knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her sons, Devin Johnson and wife Nicole of Bridgeport and Dustin Johnson of Hickory Creek; her daughter, Emily Panagopoulos and husband Peter of Allen; her grandchildren, Peter Panagopoulos, Sarah Elizabeth Panagopoulos, and Alyssa Fry; her numerous friends and staff at the Emerson on Harvest Hill; and her beloved companions, her dog Kodi and her cat Ebony. 

In lieu of flowers if you are so inclined, the family asks that you may make a donation in Marty's name to the Humane Society or your local animal shelter.
